About The Corner House
At The Corner House, we provide a wide range of high quality early years experiences to support your babies and toddlers as they explore the world around them. We’re an extremely supportive local baby group where you can meet and chat with other Mums – whatever the age of your little one.
Stay and Play sessions – on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays – are great places to get peer support, advice and just make friends. Our Sensory groups are extremely popular and are a fantastic way to relax with baby.
Infant Massage is one of our most popular groups, a 5 week course, every Thursday morning and led by Early Years expert Lisa Smith, who has more than 20 years’ experience in the field.
All our early years programmes are run at The Corner House CIO, 1 Berner Street, Birkenhead, CH41 4JY. There’s plenty of free on road parking and it’s easy to get to by public transport as well.

Can I just turn up on the day?
We prefer people booking online, as we are really popular, but if you decide on the day you'd like to pop in, just give us a call and we may be able to accommodate you and your little ones - we love to meet new people!
How much is it?
All our sessions have different prices, but most are around £2.50 per child and as little as £1.50 during our price drop months. These are the colder months of the year to make it more accessible to those who may be feeling the pinch with having to put the heating on.
Is there space to park?
Absolutely. There’s plenty of free on road parking and it’s easy to get to by public transport as well.
Is it a friendly group?
We're biased but we would say it is a very friendly group! One mum, Aimee Adams, said we were "Simply the best group ever!!" while another, Carys Clayton, said we were an "amazing group and such an amazing experience for the babies".
